Who provides these services

Zambadu is a registered business name operated by 1001667332 ONTARIO INC., an Ontario corporation. In these terms, “Zambadu,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to 1001667332 ONTARIO INC.

Acceptance and scope

These terms apply when you use zambadu.com or a Zambadu product or service that links to them. By using the applicable website, product, or service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.

A product or service may provide additional or product-specific terms. Those additional terms also apply and, if there is a conflict, control for that product or service. Spoken Text Reader has its own terms at spokentext.net/terms.

Permitted use

You may use our website, products, and services for their intended lawful purposes. You must not interfere with their operation or security, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, use automated systems in a way that places an unreasonable load on our services, or use them to violate the rights of another person.

Apps, purchases, and third-party services

Unless an App Store product page provides a custom end-user licence agreement, apps distributed through Apple's App Store are licensed under Apple's Standard End User License Agreement. These terms do not replace that licence. Apple processes App Store billing, payment methods, and refund requests. Features that use Apple or another third-party service may also be subject to that provider's terms and availability.

Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience. We do not control those websites or their content, security, availability, terms, or privacy practices.

ArrowMD Pro subscription

ArrowMD Pro is an auto-renewable subscription, available at US prices of US$3.99 monthly or US$29.99 annually, that unlocks ArrowMD's full reading, navigation, and Read From Here workflow. Viewing, editing, and saving the raw Markdown source is always free. Prices and currency vary by App Store storefront; the App Store shows your price and offer before you subscribe.

A 14-day free trial applies only when the App Store reports that your Apple Account is eligible for it. If you continue past the trial, payment is charged to your Apple Account when the trial ends. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period and price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends.

You can view, manage, or cancel your subscription at any time in Apple Account subscription settings on your device. Apple processes all billing, and Apple's Standard End User License Agreement and Media Services Terms and Conditions govern the purchase together with these terms; where they conflict for the subscription purchase itself, Apple's terms control. Applicable consumer-protection law in your place of residence is not limited by this section.

Intellectual property

Zambadu and its licensors retain their rights in the website, products, services, branding, designs, text, software, and other materials we provide. These terms allow you to use them as intended; they do not transfer ownership or grant a right to copy, modify, distribute, sell, sublicense, or create derivative works except where applicable law or a separate written licence permits it.

You retain ownership of content you create or open with our products. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to use that content.

Availability and changes

We may improve, change, suspend, or discontinue features or services. We aim to keep our products reliable, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Information on the website may change, and product availability can vary by platform or region.

Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the website, products, and services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Zambadu is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, revenue, or business opportunity arising from your use of, or inability to use, the website, products, or services.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights where doing so would be unlawful. Your jurisdiction may give you rights that these terms cannot restrict.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how Zambadu handles personal information for the website and covered products. A product-specific privacy policy applies where the product links to one.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict of law rules. This section does not take away any protection or right to bring a claim that applicable consumer law gives you in your place of residence.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when our products, services, or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top shows the latest revision. Material changes will be posted here before they take effect where reasonably possible.
